Metamorphic Landscapes
The landscape is not static-- it is alive and fluid, in a constant state of flux. These photographs explore the metamorphic nature of the landscape by depicting states in change and by blurring the distinctions between conditions which we generally consider to be opposites. This work illustrates the transitioning nature of the elemental relationships of earth, fire, water, and air, of stillness and motion, and of night and day.
